On Saturday, September 23, Dorothy Tiessen passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years at Maplewood House in Abbotsford.
Dorothy was born in Powell River, daughter of Patrick and Marion Behan and had 11 siblings. She is survived by her children Earl, Sidney and Dallas (Jillian) and five grandchildren: Steven, Anthony, Haley, Willow and Evan. She was predeceased by her husband Willard and son Dean.
Dorothy was fortunate to be in the same care home as Sid in her final years.
A celebration of life will be held from 2-3 pm on Monday, October 9, at Maplewood House, 1919 Jackson Street, in Abbotsford. No flowers please.
