Dorothy Tiessen passed away peacefully at the age of 78 years at Maplewood House in Abbotsford. She was born in Powell River, daughter of Patrick and Marion Behan, and had 11 siblings.
Dorothy is survived by her children Earl, Sidney and Dallas (Jillian) and five grandchildren Steven, Anthony, Haley, Willow and Evan. She was predeceased by her husband Willard and son Dean.
Dorothy was fortunate to be in the same care home as Sid in her final years.
A celebration of life was held on Monday, October 9, at Maplewood House.
