Cash stolen
Police responded to a report of a break and enter to the office of the Worthington Apartments at 4240 Westview Avenue. Entry was gained through a locked window. An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen. Police examined the scene and seized items for analysis by RCMP Forensic Identification Services. This incident occurred sometime overnight on Thursday, November 12 and remains under investigation.
Car taken
A stolen vehicle was reported to police. A grey 1981 Chevrolet Chevette was taken from Ramsay Road sometime during the weekend. A police officer on duty recalled seeing a vehicle matching the description parked at a location on Glacier Street. Police attended the location and recovered the unoccupied vehicle right away. This incident remains under investigation. The theft was reported at 9:30 am on Monday, November 16.
