Realtor Neil Frost helps buyers and sellers navigate the real estate market in the Powell River area.

Realtors Neil Frost and Aaron Mazurek are moving in new directions after a successful partnership that spanned over a decade. As of May 1, Neil assumed all aspects of the pair’s business, the Mazurek and Frost Real Estate Team, while Aaron takes a sabbatical.

“This is an exciting evolution,” says Neil. “I’m looking forward to helping all of our past and existing clients with their real estate needs and offering the same great advice and services.

Born and raised in Powell River and a licensed REALTOR® for more than 10 years, Frost works with Royal LePage Powell River and serves as president of Powell River Sunshine Coast Real Estate Board, a position he has held since 2014.

“It’s a volunteer position that allows me to give back to the profession I love,” explains Neil. “I’m honoured for the opportunity to represent our board provincially and nationally.”

Regardless of the situation, Neil says it is more important than ever for people buying or selling a home to access the services of a realtor. In order to sell a home, more is involved than just putting it on the market, he adds.

“My job doesn’t stop when the sold sign goes up,” he says. “I need to make sure clients are happy and protected right up to and after the sale goes through.”

Quite often, homeowners require advice and guidance on what is best for them at their current stage of life.

“My experience as a realtor enables me to help clients through various stages of ownership,” says Neil.

After a consultation process, Neil says if he determines an owner should not sell their house, he will inform them of that rather than just trying to get the sale and commission.

“When people call me it is not just to find out the value of their home; there is often more to it than that,” he adds. “They want to know what is best for them and ensure they are making the right move; it’s good to receive expert advice to help make that happen.”

Anyone interested in knowing the value of their home will always receive a free, honest, no-obligation market evaluation, says Neil.

“I always offer a customized marketing plan for each instance,” he adds, “because every house is different and every homeowner’s needs are different.”

When working with buyers, Frost helps them locate and successfully purchase the home or property that is right for them.

“As their agent, a client’s goals are my goals; I am bound to act in their best interest, and I take that very seriously,” says Neil. “I’m not a salesperson. I am a professional consultant who gives advice and helps clients make informed decisions. I am not selling to them, I work with them.”

Frost’s market and technology knowledge, experience and negotiating skills help clients throughout the process.

“I work with people to clearly define their needs and goals,” he says. “With aggressive marketing and a dynamic, friendly approach, we can attain those goals together.”

According to Frost, branching out and going solo is not daunting, but more of an exciting opportunity as he enters a new phase in his career. His top priority, he says, is continuing to be a trusted name in the industry and doing everything he can in order to best serve his clients.

“I’m here to guide clients through a complex process with lots of moving parts,” explains Neil. “I can help them build the team of professionals they need to purchase or sell a home, including the lender, home inspector, lawyer, tradespeople and mover; there is a lot more that goes into selling and buying a home than just showing it and writing a contract.”

A new website, NeilFrostRealEstate.com, has been launched to coincide with the new direction.

“On my new website you can view all the latest local listings immediately and easily on a smart phone, tablet or computer, without signing up,” says Neil.
