Local resident Anastasia Lukyanova displayed zero waste action at its finest by picking up trash and transporting it to the latest Powell River Trash Bash on her electric bicycle.
The 13th annual event was a great success, according to Powell River Regional District’s Let’s Talk Trash team.
Nearly seven tonnes of illegally dumped trash was collected and disposed of properly on Saturday, May 5.
Tipping fees were paid for by Powell River Regional District.
