With heartfelt sadness we announce the passing of our mother, Eleanor Margery Hargrove, on September 3, 2017, at Evergreen Care Unit in Powell River, BC.
Margery passed away peacefully with family at her side; she was 99 years old.
Margery is survived by her children David (Rosalie) in Victoria; Mary Robinson (Howard) in Almonte, Ontario; and Arthur (Sharon Stone) in Victoria; daughter-in-law Deborah Hargrove in Saskatoon; six grandchildren Marguerite, Jennifer, Sarah, Megan, Andrew and Nicholas, seven great-grandchildren, as well as nieces and nephews.
Margery was predeceased by her parents, Rev. and Mrs. A.C. Pound, her husband Alan B. Hargrove, her sister Eileen Sime, her brother Stanley Pound and her eldest son Herbert A. Hargrove.
A memorial service will be held at 1 pm on Tuesday, October 17, at Stubberfield Funeral Home.
