Simons is on crutches after having been involved in a cycling accident, but campaigned anyway, in the leadup to the October 24 provincial general election.
Simons is one of three candidates vying to represent the riding in Victoria, along with Sandra Stoddart-Hansen (BC Liberals) and Kim Darwin (BC Greens).
