Friday, October 26, and Saturday, October 27

The Ghost Train will be on track from 5 to 8 pm at the open air market in Paradise Valley. This is a family friendly train ride by cash donation with all proceeds going to Powell River Therapeutic Riding Association. There will be a bonfire onsite, treats for children and Kiwanis will have its concession set up.

Friday and Saturday, October 26 and 27

H3 (Henderson Haunted House), sponsored by the Henderson Elementary PAC for the students, opens at 7 pm and runs Friday and Saturday night at Henderson Elementary School, 5506 Willow Avenue. Admission is $5 per person. Be prepared to be scared.

Reach to Recovery provides hospital and home visits to recently diagnosed breast cancer patients. Service offers one-on-one counselling with trained counsellors for anyone who has been diagnosed with breast cancer, and provides information.
