Community brief: Gift of warmth

Powell River RCMP constable and Cops for Cancer Tour De Coast rider Pete Gaiger and his daughter Emily [left] presented Kendra McLeod with a hand-quilted blanket at a spaghetti dinner and silent auction on Friday, September 21.

Kendra returned to Powell River earlier this year after spending more than a year living at BC Children’s Hospital and Ronald McDonald House.

The blanket represents warmth and support.
