SHARING DONATION: Save-On-Foods Powell River store manager Nate Alcos [right] and assistant manager Jared Blanchard [left] recently presented Powell River Action Centre Food Bank chief operations manager Savanna Dee with a cheque for $2,500.
The funds were raised during the company’s annual Share It Forward campaign.
Half of the net proceeds from Western Family sales between June 13 and 19 were donated to food banks across Western Canada, including Powell River.
