SPIN IN: Powell River spinners brought their wheels to the Town Centre Mall on Saturday, September 21, for Worldwide Spin in Public Day.
The group of nine artisans formed one of the larger groups to take part in the global day to bring public awareness to making yarn by hand using traditional and modern tools.
Local spinners are welcome to attend a spinning day from 1 to 4 pm on Saturday, October 5, at the Powell River Fine Arts Association, 5395 Timberlane Avenue.
