Powell River pipers place second at highland gathering

PODIUM FINISHERS: At the Campbell River Highland Gathering held August 10, Powell River’s Clansman Pipe Band competed in the Grade 5 category and placed second.

Two of the Clansman pipers competed in the solo competitions: Myrna Carty placed second in the Grade 5 division with her 2/4 March and her Slow Air; and Ann Snow placed first in the Adult Division with her 2/4 March, second with her Slow Air, and second with her 6/8 March.

Ann also received the Aggregate Award for her division.
