HEARTY DONATION: Rotary Club of Powell River recently donated $1,200 to the Brave Hearts program for 10 new heart-rate monitors for its participants.
Brave Hearts is a rehabilitation program established by local volunteers in partnership with Vancouver Coastal Health (VCH) and designed for people who have had a cardiac event.
