Art gallery in Powell River extends Memento Mori exhibition

FINAL SHOWING: The Art Centre Powell River Public Art Gallery has extended its Memento Mori exhibition, featuring mixed media honouring grief, loss and transitions between life and death.

There is a community installation of masks, music, writing, video and an ofrenda (altar) to honour deceased loved ones.

The gallery will be open on December 1 and 3 between noon and 5 pm for the final two showings of Memento Mori, which has been supported by the BC Arts Council.

The art gallery is located above Powell River Public Library, in suite 215 at 6975 Alberni Street.
