Police patrol: Powell River crime report

Powell River RCMP reported the following for October 10 to October 17, 2018.

Break and enter: 2

October 15: Duncan Street, 7100 block
Powell River RCMP received a report of a break and enter to a commercial property. Upon investigation it was determined that an unknown person had entered into a sea-can storage container where they stole a number of items, including five various concrete saws, a gas drill and a gas trimmer. The break and enter is believed to have occurred sometime between Saturday, October 13, and Monday, October 15.

October 16; Empress Way/Tanner Avenue
Powell River RCMP received a report of mischief where an unknown person had cut the wires to a lamp standard at Empress Way and Tanner Avenue, possibly attempting to steal the copper wire. The mischief is believed to have occurred overnight.
