Powell River RCMP reported the following for January 31 to February 5, 2019

Break and enter = 2
1. February 2
Craig Road, 8600 Block
At approximately 12:30 pm police responded to a report of a break and enter at a residence. Sometime between January 30 and February 2, someone broke into the house and stole approximately $130 worth of liquor. Two windows by the front door had been broken to make entry into the residence.
2. February 3
Joyce Avenue, 4400 Block
At approximately 1:30 am police responded to a bike theft. At 1:15 am a black Whisper 905 electric bike was stolen from the front porch of a residence. The bike is valued at around $1,700. This matter is still under investigation by police.
