Powell River RCMP reported the following for April 11 to 17, 2019.

Break and enter: 3

April 16; Selkirk Avenue, 3900 block
At approximately 1:49 pm, police responded to a report of a break and enter. Sometime during the previous week, a residence was broken into. Entry was made into the residence and the house was ransacked. It is unknown at this time what, if anything, was stolen due to the mess that was made.

April 15; Fernwood Avenue, 4800 block
At approximately 2:06 pm, police responded to a mischief complaint. At approximately 11 pm the previous night, someone came onto the property and deflated all the tires on a vehicle parked in the driveway.

April 11; Joyce Avenue
At approximately 10:31 pm, police conducted a traffic stop of a speeding vehicle. While speaking with the 36-year-old female driver, police detected an odour of liquor on her breath. A breath sample was taken that was under the legal limit, but the female had a restriction on her licence to not consume any alcohol while driving. The female was issued a 12-hour driving suspension.
