May 9; Joyce Avenue, 4400 block
At approximately 4:10 pm on May 9, police attended a store after receiving information that someone was attempting to use stolen credit cards. As a result of the investigation, a Powell River youth was arrested on scene and charged with several offences including failing to comply with an undertaking, fraud, possession of a stolen credit card and possession of property obtained by crime. The youth was taken before a justice of the peace and released on May 12. The same male was arrested again by police on May 13 after threatening a person with bodily harm. The youth was taken before a justice of the peace and released again on the evening of May 13. At approximately 2:18 am on May 14, police were investigating a suspicious person trying to unlock car doors. Police attended and located the same youth. While investigating this incident, the youth was located with stolen property and drugs in his possession. He was arrested and taken before a justice of the peace where he was released from custody later that evening. The youth is currently facing 32 charges including uttering threats to cause bodily harm, possession of stolen property, use of a stolen credit card, possession of a stolen credit card, assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, assault and assault causing bodily harm.

May 12; Marine Avenue, Townsite
At approximately 8:06 am, police responded to a report of a theft from the viewpoint at the intersection of Marine Avenue and the mill entrance in Townsite.  Sometime during the previous night a spotting scope was stolen. It was determined an unknown person had cut the spotting scope from the base and stolen it and the metal post it was connected to.

May 13; Kemano Street
At approximately 12:11 am, police responded to a report of a motor vehicle collision near the intersection of Kemano Street and Westview Avenue. Police attended and located the driver of the vehicle with the assistance of a witness. The driver, a 36-year-old male, showed signs of impairment and was read the breath demand by police.
