August 1; Joyce Avenue
Powell River RCMP executed a drug search warrant at a residence on Joyce Avenue. Two subjects, a 53-year-old male and a 40-year-old female are facing charges of trafficking fentanyl and cocaine. Police seized fentanyl in various forms, cocaine and cash. This is the second search warrant executed in the same area as on July 4 police arrested a 41-year-old female for trafficking fentanyl after a search warrant was executed at her residence on Westview Avenue.
August 6; Nootka Street
At approximately 1 am, police responded to a break and enter at Oceanview Education Centre. Nothing was reported missing.
August 6; Marine Avenue
At approximately 6 am, police responded to a break and enter to the storage shed at Putters Mini Golf. A leaf blower and garden tools were taken and later recovered nearby the area.
