Spring ahead for daylight saving time this Sunday

It’s nearly time to adjust those clocks an hour ahead as daylight saving time returns Sunday. Daylight saving time begins at 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 10 this year and will end at 2 a.m. on Nov. 3.

It’s nearly time to adjust those clocks an hour ahead as daylight saving time returns Sunday.

Daylight saving time begins at 3 a.m. on Sunday, March 10 this year and will end at 2 a.m. on Nov. 3.

Meanwhile, Premier John Horgan said earlier this week that he's checking with the province's neighbours in the United States about possibly moving to a unified time zone.

Horgan says as B.C. prepares to shift its clocks, he wants to explore the possibility of California, Washington, Oregon and B.C. being on the same time all year long.

Horgan added that the issue is a matter of debate in B.C. but change isn't imminent, even though he believes it makes sense if the three states and B.C. act together on the issue.

In other words, daylight saving time is here to stay for now, so don’t forget those clocks should move ahead by an hour on Sunday.
