Powell River Pee Wee Reps Kings advanced to the Vancouver Island Amateur Hockey Association Tier 3 final with a 7-0 semi-final win over Sooke at Hap Parker Arena on Saturday, February 15.

Evan Piniewski scored the second of Powell River’s seven goals on a first period power play. Reece Deeble and Carter Stekman added assists on the play.

Powell River will meet Kerry Park in a best-of-three series to determine the region’s representative at the BC Hockey Pee Wee Tier 3 championship tournament in Quesnel next month. Game one takes place on Saturday, February 22, at Powell River Recreation Complex; start time is 1:30 pm.

Kerry Park beat Port Alberni to join Powell River in the final series.
