PADDLE POWER: Powell River Zunga Warriors mixed dragon boat team recently hosted the Final Fling at Mowat Bay.
The mini dragon boat festival featured six races and included teams from the Sechelt Peninsula, Texada and Powell River.
Zunga Warriors placed first, with Sea Gals coming in second, Mackenzie Mussels third and Texada Rock and Rowers, who were participating in their first festival, placing fourth overall.
Powell River Paddling for Life and Porpoise Paddlers from Sechelt also participated in the event.
