Sports brief: Former Powell River King connects with fans

PUCK FANS: Former Powell River Kings player Jarid Lukosevicius [centre], who now plays hockey for the University of Denver, was photographed with Colorado hockey fans Roland and Ryleigh Butler, who were sporting Kings paraphernalia at a recent banquet for the Denver players.

The Butlers contacted Powell River Kings fan Louise Fribance through the Kings Facebook page and asked if she could send them two Powell River Kings pucks, which she did.

Jarid signed the Kings pucks and presented them to the Butlers at the banquet.
