No Sound Like We, a day of experimental music and art takes place at Lund Gazebo starting at 12 pm with camping for the night available. The event features live music by Seekers International, Texture & Light, Tincture Time, Malcolm Jack and more, as well as art and food vendors on site. Admission is by suggested donation of $10 per person or $20 for families or campers, with proceeds going to Lund Community Society.

Powell River’s first and fabulous live Art Chair Auction features 70 stunning, one-of-a-kind art chairs created by some of our finest artists. The live auction takes place at 3 pm in front of the new Powell River Public Library, with pre-auction viewing from 12-2 pm. The event is part of Powell River Studio Tour 2017 and all proceeds go to Friends of the Library and Sunshine Gogos.

Senior Citizens Association of BC Branch 49 presents a steak barbecue dinner at Cranberry Seniors Centre, 6792 Cranberry Street.
