PowTown CrossFit hosts workout as part of 2020 Tour de Coast event

GROUP EFFORT: 2020 Cops for Cancer Tour de Coast participant and Powell River RCMP member Tim Venselaar [left] and Powell River RCMP staff sergeant Rod Wiebe, who took part in the 2019 Tour de Coast, were on hand for a fundraising workout event organized by PowTown Crossfit owner and operator Eddie Charlton on February 2.

Charlton constructed an 80-minute workout for 16 teams of four, a total of 64 people. The group raised more than $3,000, which goes toward pediatric cancer research and Camp Goodtimes, a camp for children and youth who have been affected by cancer.
