Fans congregated under cool but favourable skies to cheer on Powell River Villa when the local soccer club hosted a Jackson Cup match at Timberlane Park on Saturday, February 22.
Fellow Vancouver Island Soccer League Division 1 club Vic West provided the opposition for the round-of-16 match and went home with a 2-0 win.
Villa plays its final Vancouver Island Soccer League Division 1 regular-season match against Cowichan FC on Saturday, March 7.
Kickoff is scheduled for 1:30 pm at Timberlane Park.
