Five COVID-19 cases reported in qathet region from September 5 to 11

BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported five COVID-19 cases in the Powell River local health area from September 5 to September 11, one fewer than the previous reporting period.

Six cases were reported in the area from August 29 to September 4, while the previous three reporting periods (August 22 to 28; August 15 to 21; August 8 to 14) each resulted in the announcement of two cases. From August 1 to 7, four cases were reported.

During the month of July, a total of three cases were reported in the Powell River local health area.

The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the local health area from January 2020 through August 2021 is 110, according to BCCDC.
