Youth Ambassadors were crowned in Evergreen Theatre at Powell River Recreation Complex on Saturday, May 27, 2000. They included Miss Powell River Jennifer Robin Bryans; first princess Amber Anderson; second princess Angela Vodola; and friendship ambassador Andrea Dodd.
The packed theatre included a visiting ambassador, Cory Steinkopf, who represented Parksville and Qualicum District. The theme of the night was Now and Then.
