City of Powell River recognizes poetry month

Local poet Andrea Hunter recited poetry at a recent City of Powell River council meeting to promote National Poetry Month, which was held for the first time in 1996 and takes place every April.

Mayor Dave Formosa signed a proclamation to recognize the annual celebration in Powell River.
