City of Powell River employee Jason Lillies gave Westview Elementary School grade three student Liam Pinch some driving tips when the city’s operational services branch hosted a tour for School District 47 pupils on May 24.
Grade three and four students had the opportunity to learn about public works firsthand and witnessed demonstrations of the many functions completed by city employees on a day-to-day basis, including with backhoes, a flusher truck and CCTV camera displays.
