PHOTOS/AUDIO – Mr. Maxime Paquette, grade two Eco-immersion teacher at James Thomson Elementary, taught his class about poetry and had them write a poem for the Earth for the start of Earth Week, Wednesday April 22.

Terre est un arc-en-ciel
En bleu comme l’océan,
En vert comme le gazon,
En marron comme le sol,
En blanc comme la neige,
En jaune comme les déserts.
La Terre est une maison de lumières.
Earth
The Earth is a rainbow sky
Blue like the ocean,
Green as grass,
Brown like soil,
White as snow,
Yellow like deserts.
The Earth is a light house.
