This week the Peak celebrates fathers.

The first Father's Day in North America was celebrated in 1909, two years after the inaugural Mother's Day. A red rose symbolizes a living father and a white rose signifies one's father is deceased. An early tradition was to wear a white lilac and a green leaf to mark the day.

Enter to win some cool, sweet treats for this Father's Day (Sunday, June 19) by sharing a favourite photo of you and your dad in the comments under the Peak's Father's Day Facebook post.

Winners will be chosen at random on Friday, June 17.
