Matt and Nicki Lister, owners of Powell River’s A&W Restaurant, raised $2,795 with A&W Canada’s 10th Annual Burgers to Beat MS campaign, an event that coincided with Cruisin’ the Dub on Thursday, August 16. This was the busiest year yet, said Nicki, with 815 Teen Burgers sold, up from 500 in previous years. Proceeds from the show and $2 from every Teen Burger sold went toward fighting multiple sclerosis.
