In 1925, Montreal Canadiens won the first hockey game played at Madison Square Garden in New York City by a score of 3-1 over New York Americans.
In 2004, the film Million Dollar Baby, starring and directed by Clint Eastwood was released. It won the Academy Award for best picture one year later.
