A young Powell River mother is one of eight finalists in a national contest to find Canada’s craftiest family.
Elise Statham submitted a video to show families how to do mess-free finger painting.
She enjoys doing different crafts with her daughter Claire who is a year old.
“I’m enjoying being a mom so much,” said Statham, who has always done crafts herself. “Now there is the added element of figuring out what is appropriate for Claire.”
The contest includes online voting that ends March 31. Readers who are interested in supporting Statham and Claire are invited to go online to vote.
