Sunday, March 12, wraps up a the whirlwind 2023 qathet international film festival, but the celebration will keep going at the Patricia Theatre with its first-ever Oscar party, beginning at 4 pm.
However, don’t expect a typical movie watching experience. This event will have a live viewing of the 95th Annual Academy Awards, where audience members are invited to mix and mingle during the show, no need to sit in your seat.
“The film society and Patricia Theatre are thrilled to share the excitement of the Oscars with the film loving community,” said Gary Shilling, director of the qathet Film Society.
