Marine Avenue between Duncan and Alberni streets was once again the site for the annual Blackberry Festival Street Party.
Vendors and musicians lined Marine for several hours in the evening on August 15 as residents and visitors met up with acquaintances and indulged in the region’s dedication to all things blackberry.
Rotary Club of Powell River and Powell River Chamber of Commerce organized the event, origins of which date back to the mid-1980s.
