Photos/video: Powell River Farmers' Market

Local residents and visitors peruse vendor booths, ride the train and watch live entertainment at McLeod Road location in Paradise Valley

A steady stream of buyers dropped in at Powell River Farmers’ Market on the last weekend of July to see what vendors had on offer.

Some shoppers searched for produce or meat to highlight a meal, while others perused booths offering crafts, a variety of homemade products and lunch options, all while musicians entertained the crowd from the stage. And there were train rides, of course.

The market in Paradise Valley is open from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm on Saturdays, and 12:30 to 2:30 pm on Sunday afternoons.
