Powell River Health-Care Auxiliary president Phylliss Jacobsen [left] recently presented a $5,000 cheque from the organization to Powell River Paddling for Life Dragon Boat Team president Leslie Graham [right] and auxiliary member and paddler Barb Lloyd.

The contribution will go toward the purchase of a new dragon boat.
