HELPING HANDS: Some members of the Powell River Skating Club joined the Powell River Kings earlier this month during the intermission of a BC Hockey League game for the club's version of the game Deal or No Deal.
Five children from the skating club, pictured above with Kings’ mascot Rocco [back row, from left], Macy (age 11), Londyn (age 11), Samantha (age 11), Ozzy (age seven) and [front] Carter (age seven), were invited to help showcase the prize bags that the contestants had to choose from.
Club members called it a fun experience.
Skating club registration is now up for the winter session starting in January.
