UPDATED: qathet family finds missing dog, thanks community

Olde English bulldogge found hiding under neighbour's porch

July 31

Daisy has been reunited with her owners, who posted the following message.

"Our sweet girl is home! Daisy is safely back with us and we could not be more grateful! Thank you to everyone who encouraged us, shared great ideas, prayed, empathized and kept a lookout for her. We live in the best community ever! We feel very blessed."

"Where was she, you ask? She was at our neighbours all along, hiding under their house. When she bolted out of our yard she must have hid like many of you suggested.

"Today the neighbour heard her and thought it was possibly a raccoon, but said my partner was welcome to check. And there she was! Again thank you everyone. We will never forget your kindness."

Daisy [above] has been missing since 1 pm on July 27 with zero sightings.

The olde English bulldogge is wearing a blue collar, has high anxiety, and looks intimidating but wouldn't hurt a fly, says her owner.

"She’s scared of her own shadow, literally."

The family recently moved to the Black Point area, south of City of Powell River, and Daisy is having a hard time adjusting.

Anyone who may have seen Daisy is asked to contact Angus at 250.550.4108 or Claire at 250.309.2517
