A new farmers' market at the old Civic Arena site in Powell River opened for the first time on June 14, 2025.
The Central Farmers' Market will open every Saturday from 10 am to 1 pm until October 18. Centralized access to locally grown produce is a win for farmers, consumers and food security, according to organizers.
Powell River Farmer's Market on McLeod Road in Paradise Valley also opens every Saturday from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm, and on Sundays from 12:30 to 2:30 pm, with local produce and products available from a variety of vendors.
