Sunshine Coast artist Elaine Hunter is inspired by nature.
As a member of Malaspina Art Society, Hunter has created an exhibition of one-of-a-kind photographic images meshing use of vivid colour and digital images. BC, the Other Dimension, will be on display at the Malaspina Exhibition Centre from June 6 through July 2.
“I wish to excite you as you gaze upon the images of nature that I create,” said Hunter. “I feel that I am revealing the soul of nature, and hope that you too experience the love that I have in my heart for the world around me.”
Hunter will be present at the opening reception, 7 to 9 pm on Thursday, June 6 and the public is invited to attend.
The exhibition centre is located in the foyer of Vancouver Island University, Powell River campus and the gallery is open 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Admission is free.
