Tsk Tsk Revue comes to town

An adults-only evening of humour and food
Kathleen Thompson

Two local acts will be on stage at the Tsk Tsk Revue show from Lasqueti Island this Easter weekend.

Organizer Jenny Vester has been putting on the show for five years but this is the first time she has taken it off the island. She said a sense of humour is essential when attending the adults-only event.

“Expect the unexpected. It is a very original show. They won’t have seen anything like it before.”

The Revue is a cabaret-style show. It consists of 20 performers as young as 19 and as old as 46 of both genders.

The evening will begin with a dinner catered by Manzanita on the Move followed by the show and then a dance.

Dinner, which starts at 7 pm, is $18 a plate. Seafood pasta and salad will be served. Dinner tickets are pre-sold only and can be picked up at Capone’s Cellar and Breakwater Books and Coffee.

The Revue begins at 8:30 pm on Saturday, April 7 at Carlson Community Hall. Tickets are sold at the door for $15. The event is for adults only due to risqué subject matter.
