BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported 127 COVID-19 cases in the Powell River local health area/qathet region from January 16 to 22.
A total of 109 cases were reported in the area from January 9 to 15, and 67 cases were reported from January 2 to 8.
From December 26 to January 1, 58 cases were reported, which followed a report of 18 cases from December 19 to 25.
Two cases were reported in the qathet region from December 12 to 18, following nine from December 5 to 11, and six from November 28 to December 4.
The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the qathet region/Powell River local health area from January 2020 through December 2021 is 211, according to BCCDC. More than 300 cases have been reported in the area so far in January.
