BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported 136 COVID-19 cases in the Powell River local health area from January 23 to 29, following 127 cases being reported from January 16 to 22.
A total of 109 cases were reported in the region from January 9 to 15, and 67 cases were reported from January 2 to 8.
From December 26 to January 1, 58 cases were reported, which followed a report of 18 cases from December 19 to 25.
The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the qathet region/Powell River local health area from January 2020 through January 2022 is 670, according to BCCDC.
