BC Centre for Disease Control (BCCDC) reported 18 COVID-19 cases in the Powell River local health area from December 19 to 25.
Two cases were reported in the area from December 12 to 18, following nine from December 5 to 11, and six from November 28 to December 4.
No COVID-19 cases were reported in the local health area from November 21 to 27, and one case was reported from November 14 to 20.
There were no cases reported in the previous two reporting periods (November 7 to 13 and October 31 to November 6).
The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the local health area from January 2020 through November 2021 is 129, according to BCCDC.
