40 COVID-19 cases reported in qathet region from February 13 to 19

Report follows previous reporting period (February 6 to 12) with 44 cases

BC Centre for Disease Control reported 40 COVID-19 cases in the Powell River local health area from February 13 to 19, following 44 cases being reported from February 6 to 12.

53 cases were reported from January 30 to February 5 and 136 cases were announced for the January 23 to 29 period.

In the three previous reporting periods, 127 cases were reported from January 16 to 22; 109 were reported from January 9 to 15; and 67 cases were reported from January 2 to 8.

The cumulative total of positive COVID-19 cases for the qathet region/Powell River local health area from January 2020 through January 2022 is 670, according to BCCDC.
