School District 47 has been presented a clean audit for the year ended June 30, 2022, by its auditors.
At the September 14 Powell River Board of Education meeting, trustees received an audit overview of the audited financial statements from Cory Vanderhorst from the accounting firm MNP LLP.
“We are providing a clean audit opinion,” said Vanderhorst. “We are satisfied that the financial statements are prepared in accordance with the treasury board regulations and the Budget Transparency and Accountability Act of BC.
“The audit is complete and there are no major concerns or issues to bring to the board’s attention.”
