Travellers making plans between the Lower Mainland and qathet region for the third weekend in September will have two fewer sailing options than usual.
BC Ferries has announced sailing cancellations between Powell River (Saltery Bay) and the Sechelt Peninsula (Earls Cove) on Saturday, September 18.
The sailing scheduled to leave Saltery Bay at 9 pm, and the return trip from Earls Cove at 10 pm, are being cancelled to facilitate required annual servicing of the marine evacuation system aboard Malaspina Sky, according to the company.
